Oak serving bowls

Each bowl is turned from a single piece of sustainably-harvested European oak, selected for its tight grain and warm honey color. The woodworker preserves a section of the natural bark edge on each piece, creating a tactile contrast between the smooth interior and the organic rim. The bowls are finished with a food-safe blend of linseed oil and beeswax, which deepens the wood's natural luster and protects against moisture. Over time, the oak will develop a rich patina from use, making each bowl a record of the meals it has served.
