Handwoven wool throw

This throw is handwoven on a traditional floor loom by a small cooperative of weavers in rural Norway, using merino wool sourced from ethical farms in the region. The chunky gauge creates a sculptural drape and exceptional warmth without weight. The charcoal tone is achieved through a natural dye process using walnut husks, resulting in a rich, complex grey that shifts subtly in different light. Each throw takes approximately eight hours to complete and is finished with hand-knotted fringe.
